Waterproof
A waterproof silicone gasket seals the housing against water jets from any direction. Anti-glare PC or tempered-glass covers keep moisture out of the optical and driver chambers — safe for wash-down areas, car parks, and damp basements.
Dust-Tight
The fully sealed, integrated body blocks all dust ingress — the "6" in IP65 means dust-tight. Fixtures keep their output in workshops, warehouses, woodworking, grain handling, and cement environments where airborne particles clog ordinary luminaires.
Corrosion-Resistant
High-pressure die-cast aluminum and high-strength ABS/PC bodies resist corrosion and impact. Stainless-steel or flame-retardant PC clips withstand chemical, agricultural, and coastal atmospheres that rust standard fittings.
What Makes the Seal
The IP65 rating comes from the stack itself: a clear PC cover, a continuous silicone gasket, the LED board, the driver, and a one-piece die-cast aluminum body — clamped together and bracketed.

What is a tri-proof LED light?
A tri-proof (or "vapor-tight") light is a sealed luminaire engineered against the three things that destroy ordinary fixtures: water, dust, and corrosion. Sunjoylight SJSF tri-proof fixtures are rated IP65 — fully dust-tight and protected against water jets — with die-cast aluminum or high-strength ABS/PC bodies that resist corrosion and impact. They are the standard choice for car parks, tunnels, workshops, cold storage, food processing, and agricultural buildings.
What does the IP65 rating actually mean?
IP65 has two digits. The first, "6", is the highest dust rating — completely dust-tight, with no ingress of particles. The second, "5", means the fixture withstands low-pressure water jets from any direction. Together they make IP65 suitable for damp, dusty, and wash-down environments. For submersion or high-pressure cleaning, tell us the conditions so we can advise on the right sealing.
Where are tri-proof lights typically used?
Anywhere an ordinary fixture would fail: underground and multi-storey car parks, road and pedestrian tunnels, warehouses and logistics centres, manufacturing workshops, food and beverage processing, cold storage, car washes, agricultural barns, and coastal or chemical-adjacent areas. The linear batten versions are popular for continuous rows over aisles and corridors.
What is the difference between the linear, round, and compact forms?
Linear battens (SJSF508) are long vapor-tight fixtures for continuous rows over aisles, corridors, and tunnels. Round vapor-tights (SJSF502, SJSF504) are compact bodies — including a 360° ring-type option — for walkways, platforms, and damp ceilings. Compact and bracket fixtures (SJSF501, SJSF505, SJSF509) are rugged die-cast bodies with adjustable or multi-mount brackets for yards, perimeters, and industrial bays.
Can I get emergency battery or dimming?
Yes. Optional emergency battery backup and dimming are available on request. Emergency operation keeps a defined light level during a power failure — important for car parks, tunnels, and escape routes — while dimming supports daylight or occupancy control. Tell us your requirement and we will configure the right driver.
What mounting options are available?
Depending on the series: surface and suspended mounting for linear battens; ceiling and surface mounting for round vapor-tights; and curved-pole, wall, and ceiling mounting for the multi-mount compact fixtures (e.g. SJSF505). Adjustable brackets allow aiming where directional light is needed. Share your mounting height and layout and we will recommend the fixture and accessories.
