Lighting for Salt, Swell and Hazard
Decks, holds, engine rooms and quaysides combine relentless salt spray, vibration and — in cargo spaces — flammable vapour. Our marine-grade floods and GB 3836 explosion-proof fixtures are built to light vessels and offshore structures safely.
The Sea Tests Everything
Marine and offshore lighting faces the worst of several worlds at once: corrosive salt spray on every surface, constant vibration from sea and machinery, and hazardous cargo or fuel vapour in holds and pump rooms. Fixtures have to be marine-grade and sealed everywhere, and certified explosion-proof where flammable atmospheres can form.
Marine-grade alloy, stainless fixings and IP66 sealing resist constant salt spray.
Rugged bodies and mounts hold up to sea state and engine-room vibration.
Cargo holds and pump rooms with flammable vapour need GB 3836 Ex fixtures.
Marine Spaces, Marine Fixtures
Open and enclosed marine spaces carry very different demands — here is what we typically specify.
Open Decks & Walkways
Salt- and impact-resistant floods and bulkheads for deck safety.
LED Flood Lights →Cargo Holds & Tanks
Where flammable cargo vapour is possible, certified Ex fixtures are required.
Explosion-Proof Lights →Engine & Pump Rooms
Sealed, vibration-proof fixtures in hot, oily spaces.
Explosion-Proof Lights →Accommodation & Galleys
Corrosion-resistant linear lighting for interior spaces.
LED Tri-Proof Lights →Cranes & Loading Gear
Long-throw floods that survive constant salt spray.
LED Flood Lights →Quayside & Terminal
High-mast floods and Ex fixtures at loading points.
LED Flood Lights →On Deck and Below
Open Deck & Crane Gear
Deck and crane fixtures take constant salt spray and vibration, and any failure at sea is hard and costly to reach.
Specify marine-grade floods and bulkheads in corrosion-resistant alloy, sealed to IP66 and salt-spray tested, laid out for safe deck and crane operation.
Cargo Hold & Pump Room
Holds and pump rooms carrying flammable cargo or fuel vapour are classified hazardous and demand certified fixtures.
Use SJFB GB 3836 Ex d / Ex de luminaires in the classified spaces, with sealed marine-grade fixtures in the surrounding areas.

Tested for Life at Sea
A marine fixture is only as good as its corrosion protection. Ours use marine-grade aluminum, stainless-steel fixings and IP66 sealing, and are salt-spray tested in-house; explosion-proof bodies are type-tested to GB/T 3836 — so the rating on the label survives the swell.

Marine & Offshore Lighting — Answered
How do your fixtures resist salt corrosion at sea?
Marine and offshore fixtures use marine-grade aluminum housings, stainless-steel fixings and IP66 sealing, and are salt-spray tested before shipment. This resists the constant salt spray that corrodes ordinary fittings on decks, cranes and quaysides.
Are your explosion-proof fixtures suitable for cargo holds and pump rooms?
Yes. The SJFB series is certified to GB/T 3836-2021 (certificate ZJEx25.1185) for Ex d / Ex de protection, IIC gas groups and Zone 1 & 2 — the classifications typical of holds and pump rooms carrying flammable cargo or fuel vapour. Certificates and test reports are supplied with the project.
Can you supply both open-deck and hazardous-space lighting?
Yes. We cover marine-grade floods and bulkheads for open decks and cranes, plus certified explosion-proof fixtures for classified holds and pump rooms — one supplier, one photometric design and one documentation pack.
Which marine and offshore markets do you serve?
We ship project-direct to operators and yards in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe, with GB 3836 certificates, test reports and full customs documentation, FOB / CIF or DDP.
