Built for Dust, Impact and the Dark
From open-pit haul roads to crushing plants and gassy underground drives, mining punishes lighting. Our sealed tri-proof fixtures, high-power floods and GB 3836 explosion-proof range are made to keep working where conditions are at their worst.
Three Enemies: Dust, Vibration, and Gas
Mine lighting fails for three reasons — dust clogs and overheats it, vibration shakes it loose, and in some workings flammable gas means an ordinary fixture simply cannot go there. The answer is sealed bodies, rugged mountings, and certified explosion-proof fixtures where the atmosphere demands them.
IP65 sealing keeps fine dust out of the optics and heat-sink so output and life hold up.
Rugged housings and mounts shrug off vibration and flying debris.
Where flammable gas such as methane can occur, GB 3836 Ex fixtures are required.
A Fixture for Every Working
Surface and underground areas carry very different demands — here is what we typically specify where.
Open-Pit Benches & Haul Roads
Long-throw flood coverage for round-the-clock haulage and safety.
LED Flood Lights →Crushing & Processing Plant
IP65 sealed fixtures against dust, water and constant vibration.
LED Tri-Proof Lights →Underground Drives & Tunnels
Where flammable gas is possible, certified Ex fixtures are required.
Explosion-Proof Lights →Workshops & Maintenance Bays
Bright, high-CRI bays for equipment service.
LED High Bay Lights →Conveyors & Transfer Points
Sealed linear lighting along belts and walkways.
LED Tri-Proof Lights →Stockpiles & Yards
Mast-mounted floods for wide perimeter coverage.
LED Flood Lights →Surface and Underground
Open-Pit Haul Road & Bench
Haul trucks run all night across dusty benches where poor lighting is a direct safety risk and fixtures vibrate apart.
Mount high-power floods on perimeter masts with a DIALux-verified aiming plan for even coverage and minimal glare into cabs.
Underground Drive & Tunnel
In workings where methane or other flammable gas can be present, only certified explosion-proof fixtures are permitted.

Mining & Tunnels Lighting — Answered
Are your explosion-proof lights certified for gassy underground mines?
Our SJFB series is type-tested and certified to GB/T 3836-2021 (certificate ZJEx25.1185) for Ex d / Ex de protection, IIC gas groups, Zone 1 and Zone 2. Where a mine working can contain flammable gas such as methane, these certified fixtures are required; we supply the certificate and test report with the project.
Which fixtures suit dusty crushing plants and conveyors?
IP65 sealed tri-proof fixtures are the standard choice for crushing plants, conveyors and transfer points, where their sealed bodies keep fine dust out of the optics and heat-sink. For wide outdoor areas we use rugged high-power floods.
How do you light open-pit haul roads and benches?
High-power floodlights on perimeter masts, aimed from a DIALux model, give even coverage of benches and haul roads while controlling glare into truck cabs. We provide the aiming plan and photometric files.
Can you deliver to remote mine sites?
Yes. We ship project-direct to remote mining regions in Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with full customs documentation including GB 3836 certificates and test reports.
