Light That Keeps the Line Moving
Assembly benches, CNC cells, inspection booths and wash-down lines each need a different light. We supply high-CRI high bays and sealed linear fixtures designed against EN 12464-1 and ISO 8995, so every task gets the level it needs.
A Factory Is Many Workspaces Under One Roof
Lighting a plant to a single number wastes energy in storage and starves the inspection bench. EN 12464-1 and ISO 8995 set task-based targets — more light and better colour where the work is fine, less where it is not. We zone the design so each area gets the right lux, uniformity and glare control.
Fine assembly and QC need higher lux and ≥80 CRI; circulation and storage need far less.
Controlled glare keeps operators comfortable on long shifts and screens readable.
Sealed, well-cooled fixtures cut the maintenance that stops a production line.
A Light Level for Every Task
Production areas carry very different lighting demands. Here is what we typically specify across a plant.
General Assembly Floor
Even, glare-controlled light over benches and lines for safe, accurate work.
LED High Bay Lights →CNC & Machining Cells
High CRI and stable output to read gauges and avoid shadow on moving tools.
LED High Bay Lights →Inspection & QC
Higher lux and ≥80 CRI for colour-accurate defect detection.
LED Tri-Proof Lights →Wash-Down & Wet Process
IP65 sealed linear fixtures that survive cleaning and humidity.
LED Tri-Proof Lights →Internal Stores & Dispatch
High-bay coverage over racking and packing bays.
LED High Bay Lights →Yard & Loading Dock
Flood coverage for night shifts and vehicle movement.
LED Flood Lights →Designed Around the Work
Assembly & Machining Hall
Operators read fine gauges and small parts all shift; flat or low-CRI light causes errors and fatigue.
Specify high-CRI UFO high bays on a grid tuned to bench positions, balancing lux and glare so detail is clear without harshness.
Wash-Down & Food-Grade Line
Daily high-pressure cleaning and humidity destroy unsealed fixtures and risk contamination from broken diffusers.
Use IP65 tri-proof linear fixtures with sealed, shatter-resistant bodies that take repeated wash-down without losing output.
Engineered for the Plant Floor
Task-Based Photometric Design
We zone the plant to EN 12464-1 / ISO 8995 targets and return a DIALux study with IES/LDT files.
High-CRI for Accurate Work
Fixtures with CRI ≥ 80 and stable colour temperature for assembly, machining and inspection.

Factory & Plant Lighting — Answered
What lighting standards apply to factory and production areas?
EN 12464-1 (indoor workplaces) and ISO 8995 are the common design references; they set task-based lux, uniformity and glare (UGR) targets — for example higher lux and colour quality at inspection than in circulation areas. Our fixtures are designed against these standards and we supply a DIALux study to verify the design.
Do you offer high-CRI fixtures for inspection and assembly?
Yes. Our high bay and tri-proof ranges are available with CRI ≥ 80 and a choice of colour temperature, which matters for colour-accurate inspection and reducing operator fatigue on detailed work.
Which fixtures handle wash-down and food-grade lines?
IP65 tri-proof linear fixtures are designed for wash-down, humidity and food-grade cleaning. Their sealed, shatter-resistant bodies keep water and dust out and avoid contamination risk from broken diffusers.
Can you light an entire plant from one supplier?
Yes. As a direct manufacturer we cover high bay, tri-proof and flood ranges, supply CE/CCC/FCC documentation, and provide a single photometric design across the plant — simplifying procurement and ensuring a consistent result.
