Founded in 1999 in Changzhou — the manufacturing heartland of China's Yangtze River Delta — Shuangjia Electric began as a specialist in industrial electrical fixtures. While many factories built consumer goods, our founders saw a gap: the rugged, certified, long-life lighting that mines, refineries, and ports actually needed wasn't being made well in China.

For two decades, we focused obsessively on this niche. By 2010, when LED technology became commercially viable for industrial applications, we were already deeply embedded in the engineering culture needed to do it right: photometric testing labs, salt-spray chambers, vibration rigs, ingress protection testing.

Today, the same engineering rigor that built our high-pressure sodium and metal halide fixtures in 2002 is applied to every LED luminaire we ship — except now we ship them to 80+ countries on six continents.

The lighting export industry is full of trading companies — middlemen who buy from one factory, slap a logo on, and resell. The problem: when the project specifications get hard (Zone 1 ATEX, marine-grade salt resistance, custom photometric distributions, regional certifications), traders fall apart.

Sunjoylight is the factory itself. When you ask for an IIC-rated luminaire with ESMA documentation for a Dubai project, the answer comes from the engineers who design the gasket seal, not from a sales agent guessing.

We work directly with project engineers, EPC contractors, distributors, importers, and OEM brand partners. The closer your project is to specification work — the more we add value over a generic supplier.
